When I learned that my favourite aunt had died, I was horror-struck. Her death came as a shock because my mother had just written to say sh was doing much better. To make matters worse, my family didn’t tell me about her death for a week, because I was away and they “didn’t want to worry me.” That compounded the grief. When I finally found out, I shed powerful tears for days, as if to send my aunt Bea higher and higher into heaven.
One night during that period of grief, I had a dream. The feeling was so strong and the picture so vivid that I can still see and feel it today. In the dream, I was standing in heaven, in front of a beautiful English cottage. Set back in a gorgeous garden, with a stone path leading to the friont door, the cottage itself was covered with roses. A white picket fence surrounded it.
There I was, standing in front of the fence. The setting was very tranquil. I had a deep sense of inner peace such as I had never experienced before. It was all-embracing. I didn’t want it to go away.
Out of nowhere, a figure stood in front of me.
He radiated the same incredible peace. I asked him, “What’s this all about?”
The answer I got back really surprised me. “Welcome,” He said. “You can stay here too if you would like, but you have to follow one rule.”
“What’s that?” I asked.
“You can use only positive words and positive thoughts about everyone and everything,” he said. “If you don’t, you’ll drop right out of here.”
He didn’t say where I would go, but I had a feeling I knew.
I wondered if I could discipline my mind to stay positive. One thing I knew for sure was that I wanted that tranquility more than anything. I wanted to stay.
I was about to say yes when I woke up.
The impact of that experience was so strong that I remember it as if it were yesterday. I tell audiences I speak to: “Think what life would be like if we used only positive words and positive thoughts.”
Here’s the real question: Do we have the power to create heaven on earth? I know we do. We can do it together- thought by thought.

Lets all commit to create heaven on earth, one positive thought at a time.
